Bradley Swaim is a proud graduate of East Carolina University, with an undergraduate degree in Public Health Studies and a concentration in Health Professions. His academic journey led him to the distinguished Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was conferred with the degree of Doctor of Optometry. Passionate about serving his community and enhancing overall health, Bradley embarked on a career in optometry, with an unwavering commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient empowerment.

Inspired by his experiences and desire to extend his reach beyond the clinical setting, Bradley created this blog. His mission: to educate, enlighten, inform, and inspire. His blog features a wealth of information about eye health and preventive care, captures his involvement in community outreach programs, and contains personal reflections on his career.

Bradley's passion for community service doesn't end in the eye clinic. He believes in local healthcare providers playing a significant role in improving the overall health of the communities they serve. This belief has compelled him to participate in various initiatives and partnerships with local nonprofits and charitable organizations - efforts that he diligently documents on this platform.

What sets Bradley apart from others in his field is not just his extensive clinical training, but his deeply ingrained philosophy that personalized care makes a meaningful impact on a patient's overall well-being. His goal is simple: to improve lives through better vision. With this blog, Bradley anticipates expanding access to vision care and supporting the overall health of the Wake Forest community. It is his space to interact, engage, share ideas, and hopefully, make a lasting difference in people's lives.
